Introducing our Slow-Cooked Duck Confit or as I like to call it “Meat Candy”. Our Duck Confit consists of duck leg quarters marinated for 12 hours in a blend on natural herbs and seasonings and then slow cooked in its own fat for 36 hours. After its done, the meat is so tender it just falls off the bone and can be eaten with a spoon, literally. The meat is shredded and packaged frozen where it is preserved and locked in the duck fat which preserves the meat from spoiling. To serve, just take some meat out of the container with a spoonful of fat and warm in a skillet skin side down. The confit is already fully cooked, but for best taste, heat thoroughly and crisp the skin. It only takes a few minutes to create a dish that will impress your friends and family with this easy to do and amazingly delicious dinner. I love eating it on a bun, as a main course, or topped on salad or pizza.
